Registered Massage Therapy in Edmonton

Release Tension | Rebuild Strength | Reconnect Within
Your body's healing potential starts in the nervous system. Massage therapy helps lower stress while increasing restoration and relaxation. This rhythmic movement increases oxygen flow to tissues, and promotes calming the sympathetic nervous system to take you out of "flight or fight mode"; enhancing the speed of recovery, and helping you gain freedom in your body. At Holistic Mobility, we blend holistic and therapeutic methods, helping you feel stronger, balanced, and restored. Located in Evolve Strength South Edmonton Common

NEW TO MASSAGE THERAPY?
Your first session is an opportunity for you and your practitioner to discover how your body moves and responds to treatment. At Holistic Mobility, we spend the time to assess fascial restrictions with hands-on therapy to focus on creating long-term results - not just temporary relief.
We recommend starting with a 60-minute Therapeutic or Deep Tissue Massage, which includes an initial assessment, postural evaluation, and a full treatment plan based on your goals and treatment evaluation.
Following your session, your practitioner will review your results and may suggest complementary techniques such as cupping, exercise rehab, mobility training, or fascial stretch therapy or manual osteopathy session.
Treatment from a registered massage therapist
Every therapist at Holistic Mobility is registered, which matters for two practical reasons:
The first is insurance. Extended health plans reimburse treatment from a registered therapist, and receipts from an unregistered practitioner generally aren't accepted. If you plan to claim, this is worth confirming wherever you book (even if it's not with us).

The second is training and accountability. Registered therapists complete formal training, carry professional insurance, and answer to a professional association for their standards of practice.

Your therapists:

Common Massage Therapy Questions
Do I need a referral to see a massage therapist in Edmonton?
No, you can book directly. Some insurance plans require a doctor's note before they'll reimburse, so make sure to check your plan.

Which massage should I book if I'm not sure?
A 60-minute therapeutic massage. It includes an assessment, and your therapist will tell you whether something more specific suits you better.

Will my insurance cover this?
Most extended health plans include massage therapy from a registered therapist, though limits vary. See our direct billing guide for the insurers we work with.

What's the difference between massage therapy and manual osteopathy?
Massage therapy works directly on soft tissue and suits a specific, localised complaint. Manual osteopathy starts with a whole-body assessment and suits pain that moves, recurs, or followed an injury that changed how you move.

Can I book with a specific therapist?
Yes! Just choose your practitioner when booking online.
